About Madeline

Navigating the challenges of adolescence, young adulthood, and college life can feel overwhelming in today’s fast-paced, comparison-driven world. From social media pressures and academic demands to managing relationships and planning for the future, you’re balancing more than ever. It’s easy to feel misunderstood or unsure of how to express your emotions, especially when intense feelings seem to come out of nowhere.

You want to understand yourself better, manage life’s stressors, and build the confidence to thrive. Together, we’ll help you tap into your strengths, develop tools for growth, and empower you to become the best version of yourself.

In five years of working closely with adolescents and young adults, Madeline has developed unique insights into the challenges they face today. Drawing from her bachelor of arts in psychology from Michigan State University and her master of social work and interpersonal practice from Wayne State University, Madeline combines cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy to help teens uncover their patterns of thought and behavior, balancing logic with emotion. As a licensed clinical social worker and certified school social work specialist, she is skilled at guiding young people from transitioning into high school and all the way through adulthood, making even the most challenging topics accessible with her approachable style.

Madeline creates a judgment-free, collaborative space where clients can freely express their frustrations, from stressful school situations to discussing the deeper intricacies of anxiety. She provides tools and support to help them reflect, recognize their strengths, and navigate challenges. When mistakes arise, Madeline helps clients challenge negative thought patterns, learn from the experience, and hold themselves accountable to make future choices that align with their values.
